Typing on-the-spot poems since 2013:
“You guys are amazing!
People’s lives are changed after these poems!”
(corporate conference)
“You’re our favorite part of this party.
You’re like 10 times better than the alcohol — and that’s saying something.”
(company holiday party)
HOW IT WORKS
People give us a topic: “I’m starting this new job…” “Ohmygod I love cheese!”
In about 3 minutes, we turn it into a full-length poem, right in front of them.
And we do it on really cool typewriters.
“You give them the words, they spit out a poem.
Sometimes, you hand them your heart and they find its expression.”
(Nantucket Magazine)
Since 2013, we’ve typed for 100s of groups

How do people typically respond?
To an original poem written just for them?
Well, a picture’s worth…
“At the Ransom Center museum, Jodi crafted a poem about my son that was beautiful, funny, and heartfelt. I looked at her with tears in my eyes after reading it and all I could say was ‘Thank you. It’s perfect.’
The poem is now framed and hanging in his room.” (Jen Rios, event guest)
