“We want you back every time we have an event!”
— UT Elementary School
We’ve done school visits, poetry workshops, assemblies, and fundraisers for a host of schools and libraries. You’re never too young for poetry.
Ann Richards School. Our table was mobbed. It was awesome. We wrote poems on everything from the difference between mist and rain, to (of course) Taylor Swift.
Pillow Elementary. We talked about poetry and typewriters, then typed on-the-spot poems — on topics from a rabbit undergoing kneecap surgery to a dog named “Ishkabibble.”
“Wow that was fun! Thank you so much for coming to our school!”
— Michael A., Pillow Elementary Teacher
Rawson Saunders School. This school for dyslexic learners brought us to their “Thirst” fundraiser show, where students read poetry, danced, played music, and were all-around amazing. We were honored to be part of it.
“It was like having celebrities at our school!”
— Rawson Saunders School, program director
